Awards , I dont want to use this section to "blow my own trumpet", but just to give those of you wishing to purchase one of my creations some peace of mind knowing that my works have won awards throughout the UK having been judged by some of the UK's most respected artists.
2011- New Forest Christmas Bear Fair, Beaulieu with Bear it in Mind girls Amanda and Julie, Higgys Bears won the" Best Christmas Table" award.
2011 - British Bear Artist Awards,
Achieved 2nd place with "Barley" in Classic cat. and 3rd place with "Lonely"in Vintage cat.

NATIONAL TEDDY BEAR ARTISTS' AWARDS
'Brewins' Bruins National Teddy Bear Fair' - 22nd MAY 2010
This event is to be held at Minstead Hall, Minstead, Hampshire and starts at 11:00 am and closes at 5:00pm.
This is a new competition for the UK and Higgys Bears will be entering the competition with two bears. We also have a stand at the show where you can view, touch and even hug many of my bears - all of which will be available to purchase on the day - I would love to see you all there for that special purchase or just come along for a chat. X
This event was a lovely day out and Geneieveve won an award.
Sunday 12th September 2010 Higgys Bears will be at Hugglets.
We will be at stand number 136 in hall 4.

I will be taking part in a school assembly to give a demonstration on making a Higgy Bear on Wednesday 20th October GREAT SUCCESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sunday 24 th October Higgys Bears are back in the new forest.
Again Brewins' Bruins hosted a lovely fair with lots of very enthusiastic visitors xx
4th December- Kings Head Public house Xmas Market South Road, Hailsham, BN27 3BG. 1p.m til 5pm. Great little local fair, small but very friendly.
12th December The big one, it's the British Bear Artist Awards of which I have 2 of my bears through to the finals !!!!!!!!! The venue this year is Brighton Racecourse from 10 a.m. to 4p.m.
